Wendy is a licensed psychotherapist with a deep understanding of the human experience. A proud graduate of the University of California Santa Barbara, she has called Santa Barbara home on and off since 1986.

Her passion for exploration has taken her to 84 countries and counting. Fresh off a recent adventure to India and the United Arab Emirates, she continues to seek out new cultures and perspectives. This global outlook enriches her tour guide approach, allowing her to connect with customers of many backgrounds.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Wendy is an avid adventurer. As a PADI Divemaster and expert snowboarder, she thrives on outdoor activities. She is a self-professed Sports Junky and a rated CBVA beach volleyball player. Her impressive hiking resume includes Everest Base Camp, Kilimanjaro, and Mount Rainier, as well as treks along the Patagonia “O” circuit, the John Muir Trail, and the Tahoe Rim Trail.

This unique blend of life experiences makes Wendy a highly valued tour guide at Captain Jack’s.
