Horseback Riding Tour

horseback riding santa barbara

A walk back in time is to go horseback riding at Circle Bar B. Just 25 minutes up the coast from Santa Barbara, this ranch is in the same family as it was when founded in 1939. We took a group of guests celebrating the announcement of an engagement, and they were not disappointed.

A friendly wrangler met us with a “Howdy Pardner”, told us a few bad jokes, then led us down to the stables where more friendly wranglers led the group to a line of horses. Capturing this experience was top Santa Barbara wedding photographer, Linda Blue.

The 90-minute ride went past a gorgeous waterfall and up to a breathtaking view of the ocean and Channel Islands. Upon returning to the stables the guests walked past the gorgeous swimming pool and stopped at the ranch’s great room to take in the beauty of the structure and to have a beverage at their cowboy bar.
