On this three-hour tour you will learn all about the history and architecture of Santa Barbara. You will visit the Old Mission, the majestic Santa Barbara Courthouse, the Presidio and many other fabulous sites. You will also travel to a park atop the “American Riviera” that will give you an incredible view of the entire city.

Are tours available year-round in Santa Barbara?
Most of our tours are available year-round. Occasionally a violent Pacific storm may make it impossible to safely run an ocean tour, or occasionally a summer heat wave might make conditions less than ideal for one of our tours. If we decide to cancel a tour we will always issue a full refund. Here at Captain Jack’s our aim is to create the most comfortable, fun and safe experience for our guests.
How many people are usually on the tour?
The number of people on each tour depends on which tour you are doing and what day you are planning for. We have a Toyota Sienna minivan, and three Ford Transit vans which seat 7, 9, and 14 people. (You can see our fleet on the About Us page). If you are planning your tour for a weekend it is possible that you will be in a full vehicle. Just give us a call and we can let you know about a specific date. There is always the option of making the tour private.
